October 12-17, 2007 (October 11 – pre-workshop training for new students) Many call Sedona, Arizona one of the most powerful and special places on the planet, where the veils between the worlds can disappear. Since ancient times, people have immersed themselves in this energy for deep transformation. Please join us in this land of sacred beauty, and use the unique power it radiates to discover equally sacred spaces within yourself. This workshop has a twofold purpose: to feel the amazing and varied earth energies, and to experience clearing in such a supportive environment. Stand in the high desert among the red rocks and ancient spires, and feel the surge of the energy from the earth. This workshop will give you many opportunities to develop your sensing skills, because of such strong energies in the land. We’ll also join with the power of the earth here to bring healing to our lives on many levels. This is an active workshop and we will spend most of our days exploring the area. Our time together will include daily journeys to different parts of this spectacular place. We’ll go to the “power spots” such as Bell Rock, Cathedral Rock, and Boynton Canyon, to experience the distinctive qualities of energies present. And with the help of a knowledgeable local guide, we’ll travel to lesser-known places that hold special energy. We’ll also make a trip to the haunted Old West town of Jerome, AZ, to see if our hearts can dance with some ghosts to give them their freedom. And there will be other surprises along the way! We also encourage experienced students to attend this day to get updated training on refined new techniques. Accommodations Because of the intensity of the earth energies in Sedona, we find that some people have trouble sleeping there at night. For this reason, if you are sensitive, we recommend staying at a hotel outside of town. For this same reason, the workshop meeting space is at the Little America Hotel in the nearby town of Flagstaff. Little America is known for its large comfortable rooms, wonderful staff and beautiful surroundings, with a private 500 acre ponderosa pine forest for us to explore. The hotel is holding a limited number of guestrooms at a special reduced rate for our group: $119 per room, single or double. We’re creating an expansive atmosphere for this workshop, so there is no requirement for people to stay at the same hotel. However, our daily departures will be from Little America Hotel in Flagstaff, and we will return there each day, ending with a post-dinner evening session at the hotel. If you do not stay at this hotel, you will need to commute there each day. We are happy to help coordinate carpooling if necessary. Meals In order to make it easy for everyone’s budgets and diets, we are not requiring people to purchase meals as part of the tuition. There are many organic and/or healthy choices in restaurants in both Sedona and Flagstaff. Little America Hotel does have a restaurant on site, though it does not offer organic foods. For our daily field trips, we will be arranging with a local caterer to offer box lunches, which will be all or mostly organic. (More details upon registration.) Schedule October 11: Pre-Workshop Training - 10 am - 6 pm. This full day training will give beginning students the skills and information needed to participate in the Sedona workshop. We will cover the foundation of clearing and how it applies to the energy of both people and places. This session is required for new students and also highly recommended for experienced clearers, as a refresher on earth energies, and also an update on refined and simplified clearing techniques. The workshop will begin with an evening session at 7:30 at the Little America Hotel in Flagstaff. October 13 - 17: Most days will begin with a group session at 9:00 am at the hotel in Flagstaff, followed by a field trip, and end with an evening session at 7:30 back in Flagstaff.
